Once the additive concrete comes into contact with water that tries to penetrate the concrete, a chemical reaction is activated that creates millions of insoluble calcium silicate crystals that fill the space occupied by the water, keeping the concrete dry.

The cured concrete gains self-healing properties, in the event that new cracks appear and whenever there is contact with water, it activates the chemical reaction, regenerating the concrete and healing the crack, even years after the concrete has cured.
